Golden Ratio Fractal Engine
A browser fractal explorer: camera, forms, palettes, materials, an atlas and optional ambient audio.
Interactive mathematical worlds · React / TypeScript / WebGL2 / WebGPU / Ray marching
The product problem
Let a person explore mathematical form as a controllable visual environment rather than a static image.
Two renderers and dedicated test lanes are present in source. This is not a fresh test report or evidence of the current live revision.
Exploring form through control
An illustrative intended journey, not a demonstration of the current live release.
- Choose a mathematical world from the atlas.
- Adjust camera, palette and material.
- Match quality to the device and available renderer.
- Compare variations of the visual form.
System components
- Form catalog and scene parameters: world selection, camera motion and information layers.
- Primary WebGL2 renderer: fragment-shader ray marching and quality controls.
- Optional WebGPU: an independent implementation with partial catalog coverage.
- Palettes, styles, render diagnostics and visual-personalization work.
Architecture & ownership
React/TypeScript controls the scene; engines own GPU rendering. The documented catalog has 431 forms; WebGPU covers 131 and falls back for the rest, rather than providing full equivalence.
How can control and fallback remain usable without claiming WebGPU parity with WebGL2?
What to validate before use
WebGPU availability and image quality depend on the device. Performance and neuroaesthetic effects are not presented as measured results.
This describes the development scope. This page does not run the product, process payments or verify real-time availability.
