The Algorithmic Universe

A browser workspace for programmed worlds: rendering, physics-inspired rules and agent-inspired orchestration of changes.

Rules and dynamics laboratory · React / PIXI.js / Rapier 2D / Zustand / Simulation

The product problem

Study emergent structure as rules and parameters change, keeping mathematical ideas separate from observations.

Stage

An experimental browser laboratory. Architecture plans and installed dependencies are not completed features.

Experimenting with programmed-world rules

An illustrative intended journey, not a demonstration of the current live release.

  1. Choose simulation parameters and state.
  2. Separate rule changes from rendering changes.
  3. Observe structures and dynamics.
  4. Validate a new rule before trusted execution.

System components

  • Simulation: parameters, state and programmed-world dynamics.
  • Visualization: PIXI.js rendering and separate particle-presentation layers.
  • Physics module: Rapier 2D rigid-body tooling.
  • Cognitive layer: agent roles and generative-provider integration work.

Architecture & ownership

React/Zustand handle interface and state; rendering, physics and the cognitive engine are separate layers. Generated rules do not make their code trustworthy.

How can generated rules be explored without treating generated code as safe by default?

What to validate before use

Not an empirical model of our universe or proof of new physical laws. External AI needs separate safe configuration.

This describes the development scope. This page does not run the product, process payments or verify real-time availability.
